A Letter to GOD

A child wrote a letter to GOD that said this:
"Dear GOD, It rained for are whole vacation and is my daddy mad! He said some things about you that people are not supposed to say, but I hope you will not hurt him anyway.
Your friend
But I am not going to tell you who I am."
Our sins are not greater than GOD’s Mercy!
That doesn’t mean GOD is patient with our sin. He wants us to repent.
Alexander Pope once said, “Teach me to feel another’s woe, to hide the fault I see; that mercy I to others show, so that mercy is shown to me.”
What does the Lord require of us? He has shown us in Micah 6:8 “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, (that is, do what is morally right) to love mercy, (if we are asking GOD to please excuse our ignorance and to forgive our disobedience to Him, we’d better be excusing, and not accusing others for theirs toward Him); and to walk humbly with your God?”
Blessed, happy, and to be envied are those who show mercy; for they shall be shown mercy by GOD. Matthew 5:7
The child's letter to GOD is from the book, "Children's Letters to GOD" The New Collection compiled by Stuart Hample and Eric Marshall, illustrated by Tom Bloom.
