I needed closure on the childhood Nursery Rhyme "Humpty Dumpty." How did he get himself in that awful mess? Who ever helped him up, or did they? So, here is my closure I had to write myself, with help from The Lord.
More on Humpty Dumpty
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall:
Looking down on people, made them look small.
He criticized the short and the tall:
Then, before you knew it, he had a great fall.
He didn’t cry, he just laid there alone,
Feeling every broken bone.
He said he could get up all by himself;
But his pride couldn’t help him, nor could his wealth.
All the king’s horses, and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again;
Then he finally admitted he needed help,
And here came the Mightiest King Himself!
He picked up the pieces, and made them all fit:
And didn’t need Humpty’s help one bit!
So if you have fallen, your pieces scattered abroad:
Remember Humpty Dumpty, and cry out to GOD.
He can repair what is broken, get you off your defense:
And He can put you together, so your life will make sense.
He’s been putting me together one piece at a time,
As I obey Him, for I am His, and He is mine!
