On the Throne of Our Heart

I'll admit there have been times in my Christian walk, I have questioned if GOD really exists; I have wondered, "Does He really love me or am I fooling myself?" It is really the devil playing his same tricks. Remember when he asked Eve, “Did GOD really say that?”
I'm just being honest with you. There have been times I thought I heard from Him right and made a move, then wondered, "GOD, did I hear You right, or was that just me moving out in my flesh again?" Sometimes you just can't tell. We do the best we can with what we know, or feel; even though feelings don't have brains. How many of you know, there are so many "faith busters" out there that can get you double-minded if you're not careful. GOD understands when we doubt in our head. He knows we believe in our heart what He says in His Word. If you are going through any of this, I just want to let you know what I've learned: I've learned GOD is always faithful, and on the throne of our heart. Jesus is Lord! Listening to and obeying Him is the way to take. Any other way is going around the mountain instead of stopping to climb it. Psalm 125 says so much: "They that trust in the Lord shall be like Mt. Zion which cannot be removed, but stands forever. Just like the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from this time forth and forevermore." (Isn't that so comforting!) The Psalms are so comforting! I encourage you, run to His Words when you are hurting, feel alone, forgotten, or weary. Jesus said, “Come unto Me when you are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Get to know Me better; for I AM meek, and lowly of heart.” I asked GOD one time, “How is it that Jesus was meek? What did He need to learn? The verse in Philippians chapter 2 came to me then: “Jesus learned obedience by the things in which He suffered.” So, I am also learning to obey GOD by the things in which I suffer.” He makes all things beautiful in His time.
GOD is our Potter
We are His clay:
He sees our every deed
And hears all we say.
GOD is our Father
He understands:
Like a tattoo that never fades
We are carved in His Hand.
GOD is our Comforter
He won’t leave us alone:
He’s as close as our breath;
For we are His Home Sweet Home!  Amen.
