Strong in the Lord
If you are flattered because someone looks at you with interest in their eyes, and you know it is sexual, don’t flatter yourself into sin. The seductress woman/man doesn’t go after the one who is attractive to her/him: the Bible says, she goes after the man who is going “right" in his way, but who “lacks understanding.” Also, she goes after “the strong man.” Not the one full of muscles; but the spiritual strong. She doesn’t want to do what it takes to be a virtuous and strong woman herself, but she wants a man who is strong in the Lord. Why?
Not so he can teach her to do right; but so she can lure him into doing wrong. The enemy of your soul sends the “children of disobedience” into the lives of those who aim to please The Lord, so be on guard, keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are all the issues of life. Take heed and think again if you think you cannot fall prey to temptation, if you think you stand. You could fall if you don’t guard your heart, submit yourself unto GOD, resist the devil so he will flee.
Here are some Bible verses that, if you hide them in your heart, you won’t sin against The Lord. I encourage you to memorize them, one at a time. At end, I will tell you where the verses are. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call insight your intimate friend, to keep you from the forbidden woman, from the adulteress with her smooth words. Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths. For many are the victims she has cast down, And numerous are all her slain. Her house is the way to Sheol, Descending to the chambers of death. (spiritual death)
For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
(If you don’t want your prayers hindered, but you want them answered)
The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life.
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
