Psalma Mama aka Dawn Gwin
The Ground is Level at the Foot of the Cross
Boy meets girl, they fall in love, get married. You know the scenario. They have only seen each other's best, so when they marry, and start having financial problems, and the stress that goes with it, they start seeing each other's ugly side, and before you know it, they have their first spat, wife packs up and runs crying to Mama. The Lord put this on my heart in the night, just randomly, and said in my spirit, "Many of My people are like this couple who love each other. Some of My people fell in love with Me when they realized My love for them. They started obeying Me, pleasing Me and going regularly to fellowship with other Brother and Sisters in Christ, and for a while, saw only the best in each other; but something happened to hurt their feelings, and/or offend them, they packed up their belongings and said to themselves, "No more! I'm not giving that part of my heart and vulnerability to anyone again." When someone asked why they don't fellowship anymore, they say, "I didn't leave GOD: I still love Him in my own way; I just left the building."
The last thing the Lord said to me in this dream,
or whatever it was, is this:
"To distance yourself from My people, is to
distance yourself from Me."
For those of you who are married, you may have gone through something similar. Remember, in GOD's Eyes, divorce is not an option. You both are in it for the long haul; for better or for worse; for richer or poorer; in sickness and in health." That's part of growing more and more "in love" with each other, is to work through these things, and you can do it a whole lot better when you're taking it to GOD in prayer together, and when you're learning from another couple who have been through what you're going through, that this is only a Season, and you can love each other through it by being patient with yourself and your spouse, along with being humble and understanding. Whether you have left your spouse, or the fellowship of Brothers and Sisters, repent, and jump back in for the long haul, and keep loving no matter what! We are all imperfect, but the ground is level at the foot of the Cross, and Jesus saves!
