Even as Your Soul Prospers

While spending time with our Lord, I was absolutely stunned
by these words:
I John 5:12-15 "He who has the Son has life; and he who does not have the Son of GOD has not life. These things have I written unto you who believe on the Name of the Son of GOD; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the Name of the Son of GOD. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us: ...and if we know that He hears us, then whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." I cannot tell you what a shock that was to me. I am sure I have read this many times, but you know how it is, when the Lord is teaching you something new, He causes it to jump off the page. Then I
remembered this verse:
III John 2-4 (Keep in mind that all Scripture is GOD breathed and is for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, according to II Timothy 3:16) "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." Then, I felt the Lord impress upon my heart to combine these two Scriptures and pray them.
I did that and faith rose in me like it has never done before.
Let's do it together: I John 5:12-15 Father, I have Your Son, Jesus Christ abiding in me, so I have life; life eternal and life in abundance here on earth according to Your Word. You said, if I ask anything that is Your will, You hear me, and if I know You hear me, then I also know whatsoever I ask, I know Father and believe that I have the petitions that I desire of You." Okay, WOW, so that means Father, since it is Your will that we prosper financially so we can be a blessing to those in need, and You tell me it is also Your will that I "be in good health even as your soul prospers;" this tells me that if I ask these things, I "have" (present tense) these things now. So, Father, this is something I haven't heard before. I have heard a lot of teachings on healing, false teachings. I have heard a lot of teaching on prosperity, also false teaching, but Father, right now, I lay aside every doctrine of man; every teaching from man that I have ever been taught, and I cling to Your Word, believing I have what I have asked for that You have wanted me to have for a very long time. Thank You I have them in JESUS' Name. Now I can pray and believe like never before for others.
