Who Is the King of the Jungle?

Did you hear the story about the Lion in the jungle who went around strutting his stuff, when he came upon a little mouse? Lion asked the mouse, “Little mouse, who is the king of the jungle?” Little mouse replied, “O, it is plain to see, you are, Lion!” The Lion stretched out his neck a little farther, lifted his head a wee bit higher, and walked on. He happened upon a monkey on the trail and said to him, “Monkey, who is the king of the jungle?” Monkey replied, “Matter of fact, you are, Lion. You are the king of the jungle!” Lion streeee-tched out his neck a little bit farther, lifted his head a wee bit higher, and walked on. Lion met Mr. Elephant on the same trail, looked up to the Elephant and asked him the same question, “Elephant” he said, “who is the king of the jungle?” Mr. Elephant stood there quietly, then proceeded to wrap his trunk around Lion’s streeee-tched out neck a couple of times, then slung him deep into the forest and into a tree. As the Lion lay there, he heard the ground shake as Mr. Elephant answered his question, when he replied
with majestic tone, “I AM.”
The Moral of this story might be: “He who stretches forth his neck, makes it easy to wring!”
Everywhere you turn, there’s a power struggle. Power struggles among siblings, to see who can win the most affections and biggest blessings from the parents (like Esau did with Jacob.) In the classrooms at school, on the playground; even among some teachers who give in to it, there are power struggles that stem from the root, which is “jealousy.” Those who give in to power struggles, give place to the devil.
Satan hates humans because GOD gave them who are born-again, authority and dominion over him and his followers, the demons. The devil has gained more followers than GOD has, so he thinks because he has more on his side, that he will reign forever; but GOD is and will always be the Ruler of all, including Hell. Psalm 62:11 “GOD has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to GOD.”

I Peter 2:17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear GOD.
Honor The King."
Jesus is The King of the jungle.
Amen.
